Quote and contact forms. Your name, company, role, email address, phone number, project details and any drawings or documents you attach. The forms are sent to us by email through Resend, our email delivery provider.
Analytics. Only if you accept cookies: Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are from and which links are clicked, with IP addresses anonymised. If you decline, nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
Technical logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps short-lived server logs (request time, URL, IP address) to run and protect the service.
To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote, to deliver and install what you order, and to understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Enquiries and quotes are kept for as long as needed to deal with the project and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for the default period of 14 months.
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email prostep@lantic.net and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
One essential item is stored in your browser: your cookie choice itself, so we do not ask again. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you click Accept. You can change your mind by clearing your browser's site data.
